Anastasia Voltchok was born in Moscow into a family of Russian/Ukrainian musicians.
She received her education in her native city, Basel and at the University of Maryland, College Park (USA, completing it with a Doctorate degree in performance. Among her mentors and teachers are Rudolf Buchbinder, Larissa Dedova, Santiago Rodriguez, Veda Zuponcic and Andre Watts.
Anastasia Voltchok began playing piano at the age of four and made her debut with orchestra at the age of eight. A year later, she was selected, along with Evgeny Kissin and other young talents from the Soviet Union, for a trip to London and Cambridge.

Among her recent partners are Martha Argerich, Lahav Shani, Roman Kofman, Dennis Russell Davies and Renaud Capuçon. She also performed with such orchestras as Münchner Philharmoniker, Kremerata Baltica, Hamburger Symphoniker, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Kiyv Chamber Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. During the season 2025/2026, she will perform on tour Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos with Martha Argerich and the European Philharmonic of Switzerland under Charles Dutoit, and Ravel’s Concerto in G major with the Lemanic Modern Ensemble in Geneva. In recital, she played in Schloss Elmau, as well as in duo with Alexei Volodin at the Victoria Hall in Geneva among others. In the past, she performed regularly with Mariinsky Theatre St. Petersburg and Valery Gergiev.
Anastasia Voltchok has released CDs with Solo Musica, Genuin and Novalis labels. Her most recent CD “From Partita to Visions” with works by J.S.Bach, M.Mussorgsky, F. Liszt and S. Prokofiev was released in USA in 2023 with Centaur Records.
Performances of the artist are broadcast in Europe and the United States. While on tour, she often paints, exhibiting works in galleries, writes poetry, her third book was released in Germany this year, or organizes concerts of her “Piano Plus Switzerland” project in Switzerland, where Anastasia Voltchok resides since 1995. She is also the founder and co-artistic director of the Festival Primeurs Musicales in Geneva.
