Founded in Geneva in 1958 by Louise Antoinette Lombard, CAECILIA Artist Management Agency was named after St Cecilia, patroness of musicians since the XVth century.
The agency began its activities by representing artists and very quickly developed to include programming concerts and organising tours of orchestras in Switzerland and abroad. The arrival of Pedro Kranz in 1964 as associate enabled CAECILIA to expand its activities and expertise to include the creation of the concert series Les Grands Interprètes in Geneva and Meisterinterpreten in Zurich.
In the 1980s CAECILIA opened a second office, in Zurich. In 2012 Steve Roger joined the agency as an associate.
